Tom Hunter

Our task for contextual studies is to look at the work of the artist Tom Hunter and attempt our own version of his work.

Tom Hunter's photography is fascinating. His most famous photos are modern day imitations of famous paintings that we recognise immediately today. Hunter has recreated the scenes of Johannes Vermeer's socialite sceneries, such as the Girl with the Glass of Wine,reflecting society in modern day.
